20几年前一个北朝鲜女人为了寻找她的丈夫，挺着孕肚只身翻山越岭来到中国鹿乡，被善良的养鹿人救起。有时候命运就是这样神秘莫测，每一次偶然的相遇，很可能都是久别重逢。转业回乡的侦察兵碰巧遇到艺术女孩开画展。几次接触，了解了这个女孩儿的神秘身世并决定帮她寻找亲生父亲。寻亲过程中，意外发现这个女孩儿和自己家有解不开的缘，可是爱情却在这个时候发生了……。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
