The show focused upon the exploits of a top-secret Chicago police division known as Special Unit 2, charged with the task to police the city's large population of mythological beings, known as "Links."。The story revolves around a group of people who gather in a stately mansion, the scene of a massacre from the past, to perform the ritual of the 'Red Book'. With the help of spirits, they try to reconnect with their deceased loved ones.。
